Job Summary DETAILS OF THE POSITION The company seeks to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer/Technologist to be responsible for planning, design, monitoring and reporting of related infrastructure projects (Civil and Building related works). The candidate should be enthusiastic, customer focused and willing to put extra effort to ensure successful completion of the projects that they are responsible for. QUALIFICATIONS BEng, BSC or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist. Be creative and have at least a minimum of 5 years working experience in Roads and Stormwater OR Water and Sanitation design. Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards and ability to effectively advice clients where required. Experience in Project Management. Report writing skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Not limited to; Attending client's projects brief and assist with preparation of project specifications. Assist with preparation of Feasibility Studies and Technical Reports. Prepare designs and drawings for roads and stormwater projects/Water and Sanitation. Liaise with clients and ensure customer satisfaction. Arrange all required projects meetings and prepare minutes and progress reports. Monitor and advice contractors and Resident Engineers on site. - Positions are STRICTLY for professionally registered people.
