Key Requirements:
- An honours degree or equivalent qualification (NQF 8).
- A masters degree (NQF 9) with proven research experience will be an added advantage and is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years post-honours work experience in a research and development environment.
- Experience of administrating research and/or innovation support activities.
- Knowledge of the South African Higher Education System.
- Knowledge of the National System of Innovation.
- Knowledge of frameworks and best practices for monitoring and evaluation of research.Skills & Attributes:

- Drafting of documents such as Promotional Material, Roadmaps, Frameworks, Business Plans, Standard Operating Procedures and Review Reports.
- End-to-end grant administration activities for programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Leading the end-to-end workflow processes and quality assurance for project implementation.
- Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with national, regional and global stakeholders that can advance the work of the company as collaborators, funders, advisors and reviewers.
- Planning and organising stakeholder engagement meetings, workshops, conferences, institutional visits, scientific events and launches.
- Financial administration, reporting and monitoring.
- Contract administration.
- Establishing, updating and maintaining databases.
- Document management.
- Undertaking qualitative and quantitative data gathering and analytics
