Job Description
Are you passionate about property valuation and thrive in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a talented individual to join our client's team as a Professional Property Valuer.Responsibilities:
- Perform valuations on commercial, industrial, and retail properties.
- Assist in all aspects of the valuers department's operations.
- Prepare documentation and computer files for external valuers.
- Conduct valuations at interim and year-end periods.
- Support Asset Managers with adhoc valuations and provide assistance to external valuers.
- Review external valuations and obtain valuation approvals.
- Analyze market trends and comparable sales to determine capitalization rates and market-related values.
- Evaluate title deeds for any impacts on property value.
- Assess cap rates, rental levels, and cost estimates related to properties.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on property valuations and undertake necessary research.
- 3-5 years of experience in property valuation, specializing in income-producing properties.
- Proficiency in discounted cash flow valuations and valuation software.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate and property management.
- Degree or Diploma in Real Estate/Property Valuation.
- Registration with the SA Council for the Property Valuers Profession as a Professional Associated Valuer or Professional Valuer.
