Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:



1. Student Admission and Registration

o Admit students onto a qualification in line with the specific admission and selection criteria (Academic Approval CRM), in consultation with the Programme Coordinator (PC) where necessary.

o Administer the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy for the programme.

o Track and monitor RPL admission numbers (access).

o Process internal module exemptions (where applicable).

o Consider and action standard module exemption applications including CAT.

o Monitor students 'tagged' on SIMS to ensure compliance with special registration requirements.

o General student administration tasks as determined by the Campus Registrar.



2. Student Support and Service

o Manage, track and/or monitor student/lecturer queries and take full responsibility for resolving the queries.

o Manage, track and/or monitor student complaints/concerns and channel to the correct department if applicable.

o Deal with and finalise special academic requests received Registrar's Office.

o Channel exceptional academic requests (those that fall outside of the rules and/or may require a discretion) to the School Academic Committee.

o Build good relationships and liaise with internal departments, and part-time academics.

o Deal with student queries related to academic administration.

o Administer plagiarism and AI letters.

In performing these activities, the PO may engage with the various academic structures including the C4AS and academic staff.

3. Programme Administration

o Monitor engagement and dropout rates on the qualification.

o Coordinate the implementation of the "Red module" SOP.

o Manage "at risk" students in line with STADIO's At Risk Policy

o Conduct module planning for students and consult with students on qualification choice.

o Action items from student surveys as required by the School.

o Manage general student communication on the qualification.

o Check and update all qualification documentation and configuration., including Info Packs and assessment timetables.

o Provide input to Module and Programme Coordinator on module and programme reviews.

o Support the PC in populating and updating the Programme Oversight files.

o Support the PC in coordinating PSC meetings and reporting.

o Manage the distribution of student plagiarism and AI letters.

o Coordinate the assessment results sign-off process in conjunction with the Registrar's assessment team and the academic staff.In all of the above activities, the Programme Officer may also need to engage with the Head of School and Programme Coordinators, depending on the function/s involved, as and when instructed by the C4AS manager.

REQUIREMENTS



Qualifications and Experience | Minimum Requirements:



A relevant diploma or degree (360 credits)

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a higher education institution
