Job Description
A leading company is seeking a Project Accountant to join their team in Rivonia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial oversight of multiple projects, ensuring accurate reporting, cost management, and compliance with accounting standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports for ongoing projects.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and invoicing based on project milestones.
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) accounts and project profitability analysis.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to align financial planning with project deliverables.
- Qualification: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in project accounting, preferably within a consulting or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
