In South Africa, we have mining operations in the Northern Cape province, as well as a head office in Gauteng, and a port operation in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape.Guided by our purpose and our values, we enable both high performance and purposeful action as we aim to xe2x80x9cre-imagine mining to improve people's lives", delivering the metals and minerals that make modern life possible.As Project Administrator you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Accurately compiled documents and presentations
  • Filing system up to date
  • Cost centre expenditure on time within scope
  • Purchase orders and purchase requisitions are processed timeously.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders on the SAP system for own cost centre
  • Assist in managing budgets for the team and or budget control. Update project costs, compare to budget and explain variances.
  • Monitor cost centre expenditure every month and manage within constraints
  • Execute general office-related clerical and administrative tasks
  • Manage the head's schedule, arranging meetings, appointments, and travel plans
  • Filter and respond to emails, draft correspondence, and handle phone calls as directed by the heads
  • Create and format reports, presentations, and other documents required
  • Execute travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, and managing itineraries
  • Assist in preparing materials for meetings, attend meetings to take notes, and ensure that action items are documented and followed upon
  • Track and reconcile expenses, ensuring that all receipts and financial matters are handled efficiently and following company policies
  • Organize and maintain essential documents and information, both in physical and digital formats
  • Maintain strict confidentiality to sensitive company information and executive decision
This role is in the Technical & Strategy (T&S) at a Band 8 level reporting to Executive Head of Technical & Strategy.Qualifications
  • Grade 12 / N3 Technical
  • Relevant Secretarial/Project Administration/Management Certificate on NQF4-level
  • SA Drivers Licence
Experience
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Mining / Construction / Engineering Project Management background experience advantageous
