Job position: Project assistant to the company director - Cape Town
A Lighting design and furniture manufacturing company is looking for a candidate to fill the position of a project assistant to perform general office administration duties, develop the social media platform and execute project and product development.
Requirements:
Working experience in related industry is essential
Proven work experience in social media and content management
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Knowledge of online marketing
Strong time-management and orginisational skills
Excellent research skills to target potential new clients
Advanced computer skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, Google Drive, Powerpoint
Own transport to and from work and own laptop
Responsibilities
Perform general administrative duties as delegated / required
Interface with suppliers
Manage the digital space and physical filing system
Compiling media pacs for clients
Conducting internet research for products and potential new clients
Creating a social media and online presence
Collaborate with web developer
Oversee and manage online social media across various platforms
Collaborate with web developer
Regular loading of company projects and update of company profile
General office administration (including but not limited to)
Contacting suppliers and clients
Keeping a workflow record of projects and suppliers to ensure a seamless process
Communicating with clients promptly and clearly
Create pitches and presentations for potential and existing clients
Create design process packs for clients
Keep a digital and print record of projects and media files (images)
Keep a detailed contact list of all suppliers and clients and a record of all communication
Product Development (Including but not limited to)
Research solutions for unusual requests on project items
Source parts and requests quotes from suppliers
Conduct market research for product and price comparison
Online and social media management (including but not limited to)
Create grids for posting on social media
Source and edit images
Schedule regular posts
Create reels
Create instagram stories for each post
Engage with interior designers and share relevant content
Regular updating of product and project images and uploading on the net
