Must have a minimum of 2 years corporate experience.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accounting records in line with good accounting practice, IFRS and relevant laws, including the review and posting of journals, prepare calculations for accruals and review reconciliations, and month end reporting to Group.
Prepare and monitor company cash flows.
Establish and administer the appropriate procedures and computerised maintenance management processes.
Co-ordinate accounting activities with operation, maintenance, administration, and HSE departments.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
Monitor actual results versus budget and comparative prior period, including reporting to budget holders.
Prepare and submit all company taxes.
Review local and foreign payments.
Organise the yearly financial audit including the preparation of the audit file and annual financial statements.
Support, manage, guide and mentor the Finance team to achieve the objectives of the department.
