Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Construction Manager to lead a large-scale execution project in the Zwartklip area, near Northam. With a project value of approximately R1.5 billion, this is a significant project, and we are looking for the best of the best to ensure its success.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction execution of a large, high-profile smelter project.
- Ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Implement best practices in EPCM project management.
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Liaise effectively with Anglo American Platinum and other key stakeholders.
- B.Eng/B.Sc/BTech in Engineering.
- Construction project management qualification.
- 20+ years of experience in large, complex capital projects within the EPCM industry.
- Smelter project experience preferred.
- Strong track record in managing projects with major firms such as Anglo Platinum, DRA, Worley Parsons, TWP, Hatch, RSV, Wood, METC, SGS, etc.
- Previous experience with Anglo American / Anglo American Platinum projects preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Physically fit and able to work on-site.
