Job Description


Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Management
xc2xb7 Support overall coordination of the Staff Advocacy and Volunteerism portfolio which translates into the successful delivery for increasing the volunteering numbers, growth and work to shape and improve the whole volunteer journey from recruitment to induction and implementation.
xc2xb7 Accountable for engaging with staff to determine the pipeline of demand for applications and development and maintain the Road Map in response to changing business needs.
xc2xb7 Convert that pipeline into transparent, agreed business priorities encompassing both programs and projects, and small changes / enhancements.
xc2xb7 Coordinate the implementation of advocacy strategies and plans, working across teams with the marketing and communication leads to effectively coordinate implementation of a range of advocacy tactics, such as: developing advocacy briefs and shaping creative activations to drive staff and volunteers' engagements and participation.
xc2xb7 Support the Head of Staff Advocacy and Volunteerism to monitor portfolio development progress against strategy and budgets, identify risks to ensure quality delivery of programmes and initiatives across the business
xc2xb7 Responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and management of the portfolio as well as the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Staff volunteerism strategy in a timely and cost-effective manner,
xc2xb7 Keep abreast, research, benchmark, introduce and implement good and cutting-edge practices on staff advocacy and volunteerism, institutionalize and disseminate good practices and lessons learned.
xc2xb7 Provides technical guidance to implementing partners, volunteers, cluster and regional leads and other stakeholders as warranted with regards to the design and implementation of staff advocacy and volunteerism activities to meet the intended results.
xc2xb7 Cultivates successful relationships and ensures programmatic integration in a cross-cutting manner that leads to synergy between various staff volunteerism activities and accomplishment of development objectives outlined in the Green Economy strategy.
xc2xb7 Collaborate with strategic stakeholders, implementing partners and volunteers to share experiences and emerging best practices.
2. Networking and partnerships
xc2xb7 Help establish, document, review and refine process of working collaboratively with partners, volunteers including meetings, monthly reports, joint projects, information sharing etc.
xc2xb7 Identify opportunities to strengthen the capacity of volunteers through appropriate advocacy and communication training, access to information, supplies and equipment and through knowledge sharing.
xc2xb7 Monitor, evaluate and share results and findings with volunteers, committee and other decision-making structures.3. Events and Activation coordination
xc2xb7 Help to establish, document, review and refine process of working with volunteerism events, including special events, staff activations, field trips etc.
xc2xb7Plan activations including preparing information materials (e.g programme summaries, fact sheets and media kits), and necessary logistic arrangements. Highlight the achievements of the staff volunteerism programme.
xc2xb7 Conduct end-to end eventing management to include proposing agenda topics, , identifying and proposed participants, preparation of background documents and presentations, handling logistics, etc.
xc2xb7 Develop a work plan for volunteerism activities, monitor compliance and provide support and guidance to ensure objectives are met.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
xc2xb7 Monitor and evaluates portfolio activities through site visits, reporting, and trends analysis, as well as facilitates the development of work plans and reviews performance reporting.
xc2xb7Coordinate the provision of timely and quality reports to Trustees meeting, committee meetings, company reports and provide inputs to other documentation and presentations of the portfolio.
