Project Co-ordinator - MthathaFull job descriptionOne to One Africa is the South African-registered non-profit organization that works to transform the lives of families, especially children, women, and young people affected by poverty and chronic illness, including HIV. One to One Africa seeks to address core gaps in healthcare, education and psychosocial support in neglected and under-served communities to ensure that families survive and thrive.We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support a project focused on training Community Health Workers (CHWs) in the Eastern Cape province. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of training, providing field support, and managing implementation logistics. This role is critical in ensuring that the project runs smoothly and effectively, meeting its objectives and delivering high-quality outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Community Health Worker training project.Organize and schedule training sessions for health workers, including securing venues, managing attendance, and coordinating with trainers.Ensure that all training materials are prepared and available for each session.Coordinate all logistics related to the project, including transportation, accommodation, and supply distribution.Ensure that all necessary resources are available at training sites and in the field.Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day management of the project.Monitor program activities, collecting data and providing regular updates to the Project Manager.xc2xb7 Maintain detailed records of all project activities, including financial expenditures, participant lists, and training outcomes.Prepare activity budgets, submit petty cash requests and reconciliations.Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation required for project oversight.Facilitate communication between the project team and external partners.Liaise with local health clinics, community leaders, and partner organizations to ensure effective project delivery.Support the dissemination of project materials and reports.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role within the non-profit sector.Experience in data collection and reporting.Experience working in rural settingsWillingness to travel to different project sites.Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and project management skills.Good report writing skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Application Process: Submit your CV, a cover letter, and three references to hr@onetoonechildrensfund.orgClosing date: 1st September 2024Job Type: Full-timeApplication Deadline: 2024/09/15Expected Start Date: 2024/10/01
