OverviewOur client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Draughtsman to join our team on a fixed-term basis in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing technical drawings and plans for various engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to create detailed technical drawings and plans for engineering projects
- Review project specifications and requirements to ensure drawings meet all necessary criteria
- Use CAD software to create and modify drawings as needed
- Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation
- Maintain drawing files and project records
- Communicate regularly with project managers and team members to ensure project timelines are metQualifications and Skills:- Diploma or degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman in an engineering or construction environment
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
