Position Title: Project ElectricianPosition Type: Temporary - Full-Time Position Location: SpringsRequisition ID: 32486Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of a Projects Electrician to be based at the McCain Springs site, Gauteng.PURPOSE OF THE JOB:To execute tasks in Electrical department 3-year project plan, to ensure continuous improvement, equipment function at the designed line rate and meet food quality standards. Ensure adherence to standards Sans, IEEE, IEC, GMPKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:SAFETY: Ensure that equipment is in a safe and operational condition according to McCain Safety standards and Key Elements of Safety. Compliance with LOTO, permit to work requirements, working at Heights, Confined Spaces, OHSACT rules and regulations. Support 5S in workshop and factory, BOS participationQUALITY: Adherence Food Safety requirements during Installations, IQ and PQ During project finalization.DELIVERY: Time management during project tasks, Support production after modifications, new installation commissioning to ensure minimal downtime from Kaizens. Execute short term projects from findings in GMP Safety and Continuous improvement. Management of change championed.COST: Draw spares on SAP from Stores to ensuring projects stay on budget. ensure defective equipment is timeously reported, and report out of stock and obsolete items, support SCA initiatives in plant and department. Off season tasks Bean, Peas, Corn.PEOPLE: Live and abide according to McCains values which are Authenticity, Committed, Trust, Family and Be Good Do Good, display positive attitude towards colleagues and treat them with respect, recognize and respect diversity in workplaceEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS3 Years experience as electrician in an FMCG environment, experience in packaging equipment, metal detectors, conveyors. Understand and set up drives (Schneider & Power flex). Good understanding of VSD & PLC wiring. Strong electrical panel wiring, electrical fault-finding abilities. Must be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams. Must have good understanding of SANS 10142 for industry. Operate LV and MV networks.QUALIFICATIONS

• School: Gr 12 or N4
• Certificates: Red seal trade test certificate as electrician
