A prominent water treatment solutions provider based in West Rand is actively recruiting a skilled Project Engineer on a fixed-term basis. The client seeks an experienced On-Site Project Engineer for a key water treatment project in the Rustenburg (North-West) area. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution and ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards. The role necessitates a strategic and hands-on approach, combining technical expertise with effective client interaction and team leadership. This is a fixed-term contract position lasting 6 to 9 months, requiring full-time, on-site presence for the duration of the project.Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. (Chemical or Mechanical)
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the water treatment
• Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Availability for full-time, on-site work for the project duration.
• Contract-based work for the project duration.
• Own Vehicle with valid license
• No Criminal Record
• Clean bill of Health to pass client site medicals.
• Willing to work underground.
• RSA Citizen - SA ID
• Excellent computer skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office
• Energetic, hard worker

Duties:

• Project Execution: Lead on-site water treatment project activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
• Budget and Procurement: Manage project budgets, oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and chemicals.
• Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all project activities, adhering to industry regulations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including process diagrams, equipment specifications, and compliance reports.
• Problem Solving: Address on-site challenges promptly, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in water treatment operations.
