As a Project Engineer, you will lead and complete complex engineering projects that enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance. You'll work with multi-functional teams to implement new technologies, improve processes, and manage large-scale equipment installations.

Your day to day

Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with collaborators. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and prioritisation strategies. Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and validation to meet safety, quality, and compliance standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Ensure smooth integration of new technologies into existing manufacturing processes.

Continuous Improvement & Quality

Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve production efficiency. Ensure new processes and equipment comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Optimize preventive maintenance and reliability programs to minimize downtime. Maintain standardisation by ensuring change management procedures are followed.

Partner & Cost Management

Communicate project updates to leadership and cross-functional teams. Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor costs, expenditures, and cash flow, reporting variances regularly. Foster collaboration between engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in an engineering role within a high-volume FMCG manufacturing environment. Strong project management expertise (formal PM certification is a plus). Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel. Knowledge of Asset Management (AM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), Focused Improvement (FI), and Work Process Integration (WPI). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
