Are you a proactive, solutions-driven engineering professional looking to take on exciting projects within the FMCG manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our clientxe2x80x99s team on a contract basis, contributing to the successful delivery of their 2025 project portfolio.Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager in executing various engineering projects
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company standards
• Develop project scopes and manage requests for quotes
• Lead design reviews, HAZOP studies, factory and performance acceptance testing
• Oversee equipment delivery and on-site construction management
• Resolve technical issues timeously and collaborate on project schedules
• Lead commissioning teams and manage technical handovers to operations
• Participate in change management processes and ensure documentation is updated
• Handle administrative duties as required
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary

Requirements:

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or BTech in the same fields
• Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in an engineering or project management role
• Project management knowledge with a relevant qualification being advantageous
• Experience working in an industrial or FMCG manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of industrial safety rules and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• Strong problem-solving, presentation, report writing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
