- Essential: Over 10 years engineering experience, in the petroleum industry, of which 5 years was in a project management role. Preferable: OHS Act, ASME B31 (Piping). SANS 347, SANS 10089-1 & ASME VIII standards.

- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered professional engineer with ECSA (PR Eng).
- Project Management Diploma
- Planning, design, construction, and commissioning of multi-disciplinary petrochemical projects from inception to completion.
- Ensures projects are completed within the time and cost limit as well as to the agreed specifications.
- Compiling P&IDs, HAZOP/MOC studies, budgets & schedules for capital expenditure projects.
- Managing design, draughting and in-house fabrication of piping, pressure equipment, structures, heat exchangers, distillation columns & vessels.
- Management of local & international contractors and suppliers.
- Drafting of RFQs, BOQ, review of variation orders, contract adjudications & contract administration (NEC, JBCC).
