  • Perform engineering design and costing for chemical dispensing system and water and wastewater treatment system.
  • Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management, ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
  • Serve as a primary, day to day customer point of contact for projects, communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.
  • Maintains excellence written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.
  • Work with project developers and field organization representatives to meet the deadlines in all related work assigned,
  • Perform troubleshooting at the field or remotely for Company supplied chemical dispensing and water treatment systems.
  • Conduct job safety analysis and risk assessment prior to all site work and ensure sub-contractors adhering to safe working practice and design specifications.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc in the industry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation or Mechatronic Engineering
  • 8-10 years of experience in District cooling, chemical, food, industrial processes, Iron & steel, Aluminium smelters, Mining & paper industries
  • At least 5- 6 years of industry experience ( ie: Water or Wastewater treatment, Oil & Gas / Pharmaceutical )
  • Proficient in Autocad software will be an added advantage
  • Relevant project management experience
  • Excellence interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
  • Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic & challenging environment
The Senior Project Engineer applies engineering skills to solve complex problems, using knowledge of Ecolab's customers and markets. He or she schedules and helps coordinate innovative, complex projects to meet cost and time objectives, complying with design criteria and standards.Whats in it For You:

What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate with all the business units for new and existing projects.
  • Manage all the site projects within budget and timeline as agreed in the project proposal.
  • Work closely with appointed vendors to deliver the project at the highest quality. Repair & troubleshoot Ecolab's standard equipment (Next Gen 3D Trasar, Purate Generators, Polymer dosing skids)
  • To provide budgetary costs for new projects and new standard equipment.
  • Apply engineering skills and experience to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost by planning and executing engineering projects while meeting project cost and schedule objectives.
  • Support efforts to identify areas within the operations function where safety, quality, delivery, and cost may be improved.
  • Support feasibility studies, determine manpower and cost estimates.
  • Work with others to ensure projects conform to local, regional, national, and corporate safety, environmental, and other applicable standards.
  • Support technical efforts to develop and integrate manufacturing processes for new and significantly revised products.
