Support, co-ordinate and manage the activities of the development teams of the Galetech Joint Venture(Africa) companies,
Project Manage and drive implementation of agreed workstreams,
Schedule, organise and minute calls and meetings relating to project planning and implementation,
Support budget development for workstreams and projects,
Develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and financial forecasts,
Ensure high standards of financial management,
Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and compliance standards,
Coordinate required inputs and outcomes with internal and external service providers,
Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure coordinated project delivery,
Monitor and support stakeholder engagement in Kenya,
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and internal teams regarding all aspects of project delivery,
Provide leadership and strategic advice on all aspects of the projects to the various team members,
Lead the discussions on the raising of finance,
Lead the discussions with potential off takers,
Assess and minimise overall risk to Galetech,
Ensure good record keeping.
Ambassador for Galetech Consultancy Services
Identify consultancy opportunities,
Work with the Galetech tender team on responding to relevant published opportunities,
Work with existing, and identify new local sub-consultants,
Identify partnership / collaboration opportunities,
Develop and maintain relationships with clients,
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as grid operators,
Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies such as those dealing with planning approval and consent.
Reporting
Provide weekly update reports and monthly comprehensive reports on projects,
Provide regular (at least monthly) risk assessments and mitigations to Galetech,
