Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management:
Provide input to the project management framework
Lead and deliver large cross-functional projects across Clients Office Park.
Ensure each project meets business rationale and ROI requirements.
Ensure alignment with TFS project management policies and practices.
Develop and manage project prioritisation of projects and activities within each project
Manage all the activities of contractors whilst on site through agreed processes.
Ensure that Compliance Certificates (where applicable) are issued and filed.
Ensure all project or project interdependencies are identified and factored in to the project plans
Identify future risks to the projects and develop and maintain comprehensive risk management for each project
Identify and manage potential project delays
Develop and maintain scheduling of projects and activities for each project
Report on project progress, issues and risks and how these are being addressed
Escalate issues which are not resolved by the project team as necessary
Manage overall milestones and timeline of budget process
Monitor allocated projects within Clients and coordinate OPEX projects.
Develop effective tools/charts/systems for reporting purposes.
Adhere to programme and project management policies and practices for Clients/TFS and ensure these are executed.
Co-ordination and Alignment:
Assist in aligning TFS strategy into allocated projects.
Coordinate projects with key budget holders.
Develop and maintain interfaces with other areas of the TFS business outside of Clients as required for successful project implementation
Facilitate cross-departmental communication within Clients and inter-departmental communication between TFS and other departments including vendors
Financial Management:
Manage and optimise project budgets within budgetary objectives
Identify and eliminate non-contributory expenditure
Issue Bill of Quantities, obtain quotes and prepare Business Cases.
Sign off completed works certificates and submit project pack to admin for processing.
Arrange project progress payments by issuing Project Progress certificates and keep record of all payments initiated when applicable.
Submit Final accounts within set timeframes for project completion.
Project Initiation:
Provide high-level input into the benefits, costs and available options in a business case
Undertake a feasibility study to ensure all options are achievable
Create terms of reference which specify the project objectives and scope
Articulate and negotiate consensus on a final vision of the core project goals from scoping the requirements of all stakeholders, including the project owner
Source suitably skilled and qualified project team members - gather Project owner inputs regarding project team members
Provide input into the Project Management Methodology for Clients
Project Execution:
Ensure projects are delivered in line with the Project Management Methodology, project standards, and Backbone Management Strategy, in accordance to the business requirements and in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects process and scope
Provide expertise in the process specifics of the delivery of a particular project stream
Ensure efficiency and flexibility in the management of resources (people, finances)
Client and Customer Communication and Relationship
Manage customer expectation and vendors.
Maintain high level of communication with key individuals and any other nominated contact person.
Develop effective communication lines and relationships with the client management on site.
Develop and maintain effective communication lines with colleagues.

Qualifications
Grade 12 (non-negotiable)
Post-graduate qualification in Project Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
