The TB Project Manager will be seconded to the Eastern Cape Provincial DoH and them with technical support across the cascade of TB service interventions. This role involves focussing on TB elimination through strategic support in TB prevention, testing, support, and treatment
Transfer skills and technical knowledge to build the capacities of local staff and other counterparts to achieve high-quality TB programs and continuously improve HIV/TB integration services.
Provide timely technical support and ensure the quality and use of data to monitor intensified TB case finding, treatment enrolment and retention, focusing on provincial level implementation to achieve the TB treatment programming deliverables and targets.
Support implementation of integrated HIV/TB care and treatment guidelines, new algorithms, and standard operating procedures with a focus on the NTP Strategic plan and the TB Recovery plan interventions
Work closely with the ACCELERATE 1 Eastern Cape districts to provide enhanced TB and DR-TB support.
Support DRTB and DSTB clinical and mortality audits
Analyse data and use it to improve project performance

Education
University degree in the public health fields or Diploma in TB-HIV management or another related field
Advantageous
Previous experience working in an NGO environment
Should have significant previous experience and technical knowledge of quality improvement
Master's degree (MSc or MPH) or equivalent field
Experience
Proven experience in providing HIV and TB services (both drug-sensitive or drug-resistant) or technical assistance for more than 5 years
Experience in developing training resource material and training aids to assist implementation
Requirements
Proficient personal computer skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Evidence of experience with developing and delivering scientific presentations
SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
Drivers Licence
Own car
Ability to travel as necessary
Willing to work overtime
