Cape Town- OnsiteWe are seeking a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team.The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of strategies surrounding governance requirements within the L&D framework.This individual will bring strong project management skills to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of training projects, ensuring alignment with our business governance principles.Key Responsibilities: * Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables for training projects.
  • Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects in alignment with L&D strategy and business governance requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for training initiatives.
  • Team Management:
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and trainers to ensure that training content is relevant, effective, and aligned with project goals.
  • Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance on project tasks and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Oversee resource allocation and team responsibilities to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Governance Alignment:
  • Ensure all training projects reflect the organizationxe2x80x99s governance principles and compliance requirements.
  • Continuously assess and refine project processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in delivering training solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align training initiatives with overall business strategy and governance standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in project management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within Learning & Development or a related environment.
  • Strong understanding of governance principles and their application within organizational training frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, etc.).
  • Experience in training and development (preferred but not required).
