We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team to lead our retail fitout projects from concept to completion.
Job Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of retail fitout projects from initial design to final completion. You will work closely with clients, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple retail fitout projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
• Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as necessary
• Manage project teams, including coordination of internal resources and external contractors
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ensure all projects are delivered to the required quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the retail or construction industry
• Proven track record of delivering complex retail fitout projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites (up to 50% of the time)

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification
• Experience with design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit)
• Knowledge of construction software
• Experience working with large retailers or international brands

• Must be able to work remotely. This is not an in-office-based role.
• Site-based role, managing projects mostly in the Gauging, Limpopo, North West, Mpumalanga and Free State Regions
• Candidate must be capable of putting together Scope of works, Budgets and Programmes
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project. The Admin Component of this job is heavily Excel based.
