KEY CRITERIA

Civil Engineering background or experience
8 years relevant experience in managing multi-billion-rand construction and mining MEGA Projects.
Responsible for managing contracts in such a way to reduce the likelihood of receiving claims from contractors
Ensures that contractors deliver based on baselined project schedules through the various project resources and shared resources.
Oversees and manage the project deliverables and strategy in-line with program management objectives
Oversees the project from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget
Will report to the Program Manager
Coordinates, and manage the resources in his team both in the office and on site and interfaces with SPM, Engineering, Planning, Costing, Risk, and the Vendors through Procurement.
