TB HIV Care (THC), in existence since 1929, is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation. We provide health care services throughout South Africa to both the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB, including adolescent girls and young women, sex workers and people who use drugs. Provides overall management, administrative and other support for the community oriented primary care, targeted universal TB testing (TUTT) and high transmission area (HTA) projects in the Western Cape area including managing stakeholders, partners, staff and ensuring targets are met and project progresses according to plans in collaboration with DOH, NPOs and other stakeholders

Minimum Requirements
Registered Professional Nurse / clinical qualification
Project management or health management qualification
At least 5 years management experience
Advanced MS Office skills
Valid Code 08 Drivers licence and own transport
Clear criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities
Manages the Projects and activities within the assigned district, sub-structure and sub-district
Collaborates with the Department of Health, and key stakeholders in government and the community in the different sub-districts
Collaborates with Global Fund activities taking place within the scope of the project
Liaises with District Coordinator, and other coordinators to ensure all projects and activities of the organisation in the project are functioning optimally
Carries out activities as defined in the sub-district business plans
Identifies resources in the supported sub-districts
Supervises and provides guidance to the HTS services in the scope of the project
Manages all aspects of the project and ensures effective delivery of services in line with targets
Ensures collaboration between the project, DOH funded programmes (CBS and facility counsellors) as well as CDC/PEPFAR programmes
Monitors that smooth referral processes are in place from testing services according to protocols
Ensures that the project is integrated where relevant and is in alignment with other TB HIV Care activities
Ensures that testing teams' record keeping and linkage to care are carried out according to SOPs
Closely works with monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to ensure that staff participates on the data review and usage meetings for positive and effective implementation of lessons learned
Networking
Maintains a healthy and positive relationship with the sub-structure managers, sub-district coordinators and facility managers
Works closely with other funded organisations working in the identified wards
Develops partnerships and working relationships with community structures, NPO's community leaders, political representatives and Provincial Government representatives
Administration and Other Duties
Keeps appropriate records of work contacts
Provides monthly reports to the DOH as required
Participates in meetings of DOH and TB HIV Care as required
Ensures documentation of all activities and presents these as required in forums, NPO consultative meetings and internal meetings
Collates all leave (annual, sick, maternity, unpaid, family responsibility, study) forms from district coordinators and ensure submission to the HR unit
Ensures the Coordinators complete the Staff Movements tool and submits it to HR by the 10th of each month and that all information captured on the Staff Movement tool is accurate
Collates all transport claim forms, ensures that it is authorized and submits to payroll for processing by 7th of month
