Job Summary Main Role Function To ensure that the deliverables which are outlined in the contracts are achieved as agreed with the clients To ensure that projects are managed effectively and efficiently to meet all set goals and objectives Accountabilities Leading team including drawing officexc3x82 &xc3x82 engineering, applicationxc3x82 engineers, quality, supplyxc3x82 chain, planner, contract specialist and document controller Managing full scope on high value turnkey projects Controlling finance by managing supplier commitments on projects while tracking and pursuing invoicing milestones to maintaining a favourable cash flow position Actively managing changes, variations and amendments Ensuring safety compliance on project sites as companyxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s appointed 16.2 Managing subcontractors and their activities to complete projects safely, on time and to specification Attending client andxc3x82 site projectxc3x82 progressxc3x82 meetingsxc3x82 andxc3x82 reporting progress onxc3x82 statusxc3x82 andxc3x82 risks to management Managing contract and communicating with customers in line with conditions under which the contract is established Tracking and complete handover of supplier documentation, as-builts, manuals and data books on throughout the contract. Closing projects on completion Liaise with the EHS Manager to ensure all activities are conducted within the clientxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s, compny and statutory safety requirements Ensure that all documents relating to the above are in place and that all necessary records are kept up to date BSc / BEng/ BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Must have a Project Management Professional Certification Minimum 7 yearsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 experience managing large projects. Understanding of project management processes and procedures. Knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC conditions of contract Process plant experience would be beneficial Good negotiation skills. Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills a must.
