The Project Officer supports the UNICEF-funded Government of South Africa-administered Young Mothers Program through focus on Technical and Strategic Information support to institutionalise the pregnant adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) Peer Mentor Model and improve the access, uptake, and quality of care for children and adolescents living with HIV in three districts in Gauteng province (Tshwane, Ekurhuleni, City of Johannesburg), and the Sekhukhune district in Limpopo.The role involves providing technical assistance, training, and capacity building to ensure the successful execution of health initiatives, with a particular focus on AGYW HIV prevention programs. The incumbent will work closely with the Senior Technical Advisor to implement the project workplan, monitor implementation and facilitate quality improvement interventions for programme improvement. This will include contributing to project deliverables such as reports. The Project Officer will work closely with provincial, district, and sub-district level stakeholders to ensure success of the programme.
