Project Planner & Scheduler - Head Office - JhbFull job descriptionMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMatric certificate / equivalentBachelors Degree/ Diploma or similar qualification in engineering, commerce or building environmentComputer literacy (MS Office) - Advanced Excel and ProjectsComputer literacy other - Primavera essentialKnowledge of ERP systems - Sage, JDE, SAP or similarKnowledge of contract schedules and programmes, administration processes and proceduresAdditional Certification is advantageousValid drivers license and own reliable transportEXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS3-5 years experience as a Project Planner in mining or infrastructure projectsPlanning, scheduling, resourcing of schedules and detailed subordinate schedulesMaintaining and updating schedules with actual progress and preparing reportsSchedule updates, forecasts, scenarios, and analysisKnowledge of engineering projects, project life cycle and requirementsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsPrevious experience with InEightROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop master schedules, histograms, progress curves, resource requirements for underground mining and construction projects and all related activities to meet project objectivesTrack work progress, activity, and cycle durations, prepare forecasts and deviation analysisSupport Project Managers with accurate and up to date reports, forecasts, and recommendations to achieve project objectivesMonitor compliance with issued schedules, identify risks and prepare impact assessmentsIdentify changes to scope of work, contract baseline, assist with impact analysis and prepare variation submissionsPrepare and review schedule related input to contract variation processesDaily, weekly, and monthly progress reportsPrepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as required
