Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Manage project process, planning, procurement, implementation, and review.
- Prepares and manages project financial budgets.
- Contract interpretation, selection and management of third-party suppliers.
- Manage and oversee efficient running of the project department.
- Motivates, develops and coach project management team.
- Manages Fabrication Shop dedicated to the project.
- Stakeholder management including claims and negotiation.
- Ensure adherence to company and customer policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- ND Mech. Engineering (minimum) or BSc (Eng.) Degree
- Formal Project Management qualification will be advantageous.
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years experience in a multi-million-rand steel fabrication project management.
- Above experience should be in an SOE, Utility or Petrochemical environment.
- Working with classification societies/3rd parties

High level computer literacy: MS Projects, MS Office, ERP System.
- Strong commercial background. FIDIC/NEC3 knowledge would be an advantage.
- Sound Technical/Engineering background.
- Excellent administrative and communication skills
- Negotiation skills
