Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a dynamic Project Technician to join their team in Gauteng. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge PLC and Servo drive systems, making a significant impact on service excellence and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC and Servo drive systems, providing solutions that meet client needs.
- Service, test, and commission sophisticated PLC and Servo drive systems.
- Perform inspections, fault finding, and servicing on a variety of automation systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies.
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Offer technical support to both sales staff and clients, ensuring a high level of service.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in our DC product range.
- Conduct electronic and motor repairs.
- Program and commission machines to meet project specifications.
- Recognized trade certificate.
- Experience in setting up and commissioning Servo drives.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (codesys).
- Valid Code 8 drivers license.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, circuitry, components, and quality standards.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Self-driven and positive attitude.
