Are you a detail-oriented accountant with a passion for the property sector? We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our team and manage financial reporting for our growing portfolio.Position: Property Accountant

Qualification: BCom Accounting
Experience: 4 years experienceKey Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage financial reports for a diverse portfolio of properties.
• Handle month-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
• Collaborate with property managers to provide financial insights and reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements related to property transactions and management.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors.

Requirements:

• BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
• CIMA or studying towards CIMA (beneficial)
• Proven experience in financial reporting, ideally within the property or real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, with hands-on experience in general ledger, financial statements, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
