Job Description
Job Summary As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property accounting, particularly with MDA (Multi-Discipline Accounting) software, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements for a portfolio of properties.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights on property performance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against these metrics.
- Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Utilize MDA software for financial reporting and analysis.
- Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in property accounting.
- Proficiency with MDA (Multi-Discipline Accounting) software is a must.
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles.
