Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance / Repairs Manager, for a permanent role in Cape Town, Western CapeApplicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with 5+ years' experience in a repairs & maintenance management role for the property industry - handling both properties and vehicle maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- High level of computer literacy and good communication skills
- Staff management skills (4 teams)
- Good working knowledge and experience in maintenance - both property & vehicle
- Experience with insurance claims
- Clear criminal records and contactable references
- Manage 4 maintenance teams and control insurance claims
- Oversee vehicle maintenance including regular inspections of overall repairs completed and building safety checks
- Must be hands on in the role
- Properties are positioned across the Cape Flats and is a mix of residential and commercial tenants
- Liaison with tenants regarding repairs / maintenance / insurance claims
