Property Management and Rental AdministratorReal Estate Assist, a subsidiary of the Assist Group, is seeking an experienced Property Management Administrator to join our team. We are looking for a professional with at least 10 years of experience in residential property management, specifically in rental collection and payments, and maintenance facilitation. Experience in residential sales administration will be an advantage.Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow procedures and send out applicable correspondence promptly.
  • Manage and maintain the collections and payments related to all recovery rentals and real estate under management.
  • Work within a multi-disciplined environment and develop multi-faceted solutions for challenges within the residential property management sphere.
  • Adhere to and promote the core values and principles of the organization.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in property management, maintenance facilitation, and facilitating insurance claims and similar administrative functions.
  • Relevant understanding of property law.
  • Strong analytical and systematic work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to handle technical product information.
  • Proven ability to improve procedures, particularly in database management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Presentable and reliable motor vehicle.
  • Own office setup, including a computer, copier/scanner, and internet access.
  • Smartphone and laptop/tablet or similar device.
  • Existing business network.
  • Integrity and a drive to make a difference in people's lives.
  • Passion for real estate and working with people.
  • Proficiency in property management software such as Payprop, Excel, TPN, and similar systems.
  • Bilingual (Afrikaans and English); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Computer literate and capable of working on all devices.
