Our client based in Gardens, Cape Town, is looking for a Property Manager with an accounts related quantification that is hard working and reliable with experience in property administration, accounts, collections and compliance. This position requires the candidate to have excellent attention to detail, a can do attitude and the ability to manage staff.POSITION INFO:

START DATE : A.S.A.P / ImmediateREQUIREMENTS:

• Finance or Business Management Qualification
• Proficiency on the WeconnectU rental asset management system (Advantageous)
• At least 3 years experience in the property management environment
• Experience in accounting and financial management.
• Experience in recoveries and arrear rental and levy collections.
• Knowledge of POPI and PPRA
• Experience in managing staff and running a small team.

DUTIES:

• Ensure all properties are loaded correctly on management system.
• Ensure all leases and renewals are done timeously.
• Ensure all recoveries are inputted correctly on management system.
• Dealing with account related queries.
• Deal with the COCT/Eskom on billing issues.
• Ensure all rental invoices/statements are sent out.
• Ensure all daily payments are loaded correctly.
• Ensure all deposits are reconciled, signed off and released.
• Manage small team of accounts and admin staff.
• Manage all aspects collections/debtors and report back to clients.
• Control and Audit trust account.
• Attending weekly/monthly management meeting and report back on activities.
• Manage all aspects related to company compliance (FICA, FIC, PPA, POPI and Insurance)
• Manage general day-to-day office requirements
