Property Portfolio Manager

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Human Resources & Leadership:
- Determine staffing needs and manage the team effectively.
- Provide leadership and guidance, setting clear performance targets.
- Ensure consistent performance management across the portfolio.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans with measurable objectives.
- Benchmark KPIs against the market and adjust strategies as needed.
- Draft and execute a comprehensive portfolio strategy to meet KPIs.
- Financial Management:
- Manage portfolio net income vs. budget.
- Oversee capital expenditure and ensure it aligns with the budget.
- Monitor and manage arrears to optimize financial performance.
- Property Leasing & Retention:
- Manage property leasing to minimize vacancies.
- Develop and implement a tenant retention strategy.
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Produce high-level executive summaries and detailed monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations.
- Consistently implement company policies and procedures.
- Development & Asset Management:
- Identify and initiate refurbishment and development opportunities.
- Facilitate property sales and acquisitions in line with asset management goals.
- Industry Relationships:
- Build and maintain relationships with key players in the property industry using CRM tools.
- Education: BCom Accounting degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in property management, financial management, and team leadership.
- Skills: Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
