Job Summary The Proposal Writer/Fundraiser at Stepping Stone Hospice will play a critical role in securing funding for the hospice's programs and services. The primary responsibility is researching, developing, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, government agencies, and other potential funding sources. Additionally, the role involves developing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and coordinating fundraising events to support the mission of the hospice. Key Responsibilities: 1. Grant Writing and Management 2. Fundraising Strategy Development 3. Event Planning and Co-ordination 4. Donar Relations and Stewardship 5. Administration and Reporting Qualifications and Skills: -Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field. -3-5 years' experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related field, preferably within the nonprofit or healthcare sector. -Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling narratives. - Passion for the mission of palliative care and a commitment to improving the quality of life for patients and their families. -Knowledge of local, national, and international grant application processes.
