Job Description


PROVINCIAL CORPORATE SERVICES & LOGISTICS MANAGERFREE STATERef: FS-PROVCSLM-001Please note only applications reflecting the reference number (above) will be considered.The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based in the Free State. The successful candidate will report to the Provincial Director.The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, managing and ensuring effective and efficient support services functioning of the following in the Province:
  • Human resources
  • Membership
  • Statutory obligations
  • Political Performance Assessment System
  • Provincial administration
  • Procurement logistics and services
  • Reception
  • Candidate selection
  • Voter relationship manager
  • Info systems and technology
  • Effectively manage and direct all support staff
Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Relevant staff management experience, including on project basis or completion of the Partys Management Readiness Programme (applicable to internal candidates)
  • Experience in an operational role
  • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the Party and its structures
  • Knowledge of the local, provincial and national political environment and dynamics
  • Strong coordinating and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and process driven
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function well and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Systematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detail
  • Commitment to the values, principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
  • Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
  • An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
  • Willingness to go the extra mile, which include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays, where necessary
  • Applicants MUST be in possession of a valid drivers licence and have access to an insured vehicle for daily use
