Job Description

We are seeking a PRP (People Resource Planning) Super User to join our team in Johannesburg or Cape Town but can also work remotely. This position plays a critical role in managing and administering biometric access and security systems within our organization, ensuring compliance with PRP and Ecowize standards and protocols. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of biometric technology, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively train and support end-users. Interacting closely with operations and the Financial Managers to ensure smooth integration of data, maintenance of shifts, budget alignment and daily monitoring to minimise cost that are not budgeted for.Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer PRP biometric access systems, ensuring accurate and secure biometric data collection.
• Train and support personnel in the proper use of biometric systems and compliance with PRP guidelines and the Ecowize Business Requirement Document
• Coordinate with IT and security teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of biometric data integrity and system security.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials related to PRP.
• Act as a subject matter expert on PRP biometric systems, providing guidance and recommendations to leadership.
• Work closely with IT in collaboration with external vendors and contractors on biometric system installations and maintenance.
• Maintain communication and coordination with operations managers to ensure alignment of biometric system usage with operational shifts, Budgets and needs.
• Assist operations managers in implementing and maintaining efficient schedules and shifts based on biometric access data and analytics.

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience with biometric access control systems, particularly in a PRP or highly regulated environment - advantage
• Strong technical skills in biometric technology, including familiarity with fingerprint, facial recognition, and iris scanning systems- advantage
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support end-users of varying technical abilities.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Certifications in biometric technology or PRP systems (e.g., Certified Biometrics Professional) preferred.
• Advance MS Excel Skills
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Own vehicle
• Willingness to travel
