National Diploma or bachelors degree in marketing, Public Relations and Communications or related field.
3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Track record in Digital Media, Communication, Public Relations and Marketing.
Knowledge of online marketing and social media strategies.
Ability to stay up to date with the latest multimedia and social media platforms and trends.
Experience in a scientific research environment will be an added advantage.
Creativity and ability to undertake marketing research.
Global mindset and relationship building expertise and skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to write and capture engaging and compelling content.
Computer literacy with proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Professional membership: Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA) registration at Associate Marketer level will be an added advantage.
Valid drivers licence (code 08/EB).
