Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION INFORMATION:Job Title: QA Lead
Employment Type: 12 Months contract, On-site
Work Location: Sandton, JohannesburgDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Leadership and Strategy:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with the organizationxe2x80x99s goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality standards.

2. Quality Assurance:

• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to ensure the quality deliverables.
• Ensure that all financial software applications and systems meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Product Management, and Operations to understand requirements, provide input on technical designs, and resolve complex issues.
• Communicate QA status, challenges, and risks to stakeholders effectively.

4. Process Improvement:

• Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
• Continuously review and improve testing processes, methodologies, and standards.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:1. Qualification requirements:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Extensive experience with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in QA software tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.

PACKAGE & REMUNERATION:

• Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, applicable experience, and previous earnings.
