Serve as an essential figure in upholding food safety standards and guaranteeing customer satisfaction within a food production environment. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee adherence to food safety standards and SOPs, guaranteeing their effective implementation throughout the facility.
Youll seek and manage customer feedback and complaints, using corrective and preventive measures to address concerns and improve customer satisfaction. Additionally, youll monitor and analyse trends in customer complaints and product returns, providing regular reports to management.
Quality control will be a core aspect of your duties, involving the review of microbiological results. Moreover, youll maintain strict hygiene standards and implement pest management systems.
Your analytical skills will be put to use in problem-solving scenarios, as you analyse data and make recommendations for process improvements. Furthermore, youll be actively involved in both internal and external food safety audits.
Overseeing factory trials and product launches will be part of your responsibilities, and youll lead and mentor a team, ensuring they receive adequate training and support to succeed in their roles!
Continuous improvement will be a central focus, as you work towards enhancing the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (GMP, HAACCP and FSSC 22000) and reducing variability in product and service quality. Furthermore, youll be responsible for developing and maintaining traceability systems for raw materials and final products.
Were looking for someone with a Diploma in Food Science Technology (or a similar qualification). Its also important that youve got at least 3 years proven experience in quality assurance or quality management, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing. These qualifications and experiences will set you up nicely for the job ahead!
