If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you!Requirements:Matric Certificate (Mathematics and Science is imperative)National Diploma / B Tech / B.Sc in Analytical ChemistryNational Higher Diploma: Quality AssurancePost Graduate Qualification in Business Administration (would be advantageous)Minimum of 7-9 years experience in Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Product Processing manufacturing environmnentStrong manufacturing / production backgroundKnowledge of GMP, HACCP, OHS, ISO 9002 and OSHAS 18001Duties/Responsibilities:Using resources efficiently and effectivelyPlanning and setting teams targets (products/services/volumes etc)Contributing to budget management and control of costsCoaching and mentoring others in the same field of expertiseCommunicating and collaborating effectively with othersEnsurig QC/QA/Food Safety activities meet and exceed the SHER Standards of complianceDemonstrating an understanding of internal and external customer needs, expectationsCollaborating effectively with internal and external service providersAssess non-routine analysisMaintaining legal environmental requirementsIdentifying and correcting non-conforming areas and processes in collaboration with the Works Management team and processing engineering improvementsReacting timeously in resolving process problemsReporting effluent results on time and calculate costsRegularly reviewing and training subordinates on procedures to facilitate consistency of processes and systemInternal audits and Compliance, and to implement Corrective Action with a sense of urgencyMaintain GMP and OHS proceduresAssist with lab analytical reports and other applicable documentationChecking calibrations of equipmentCommissioning new instrumentsDeveloping procedures, calibration and instructions for all new equipment
