Job Description


Qualified Millwright (Machine Tool Millwright )Area: Alrode - GautengKnowledge, Skills and Abilities required

  • Crane operation experience including a valid crane licence.
  • Experience in the following is preferred: Industrial maintenance mixers, crane, JIB crane, transfer pots, general electrical, cooling towers, heat treatment furnace, dust extraction units and induction furnaces.
  • Knowledge and experience in dismantling machinery, transferring equipment, interpreting blueprints, and installing equipment.
  • Must be able to do electrical repairs on furnaces, cranes, mixers, heat treatment furnaces, core shooters, mills, shot blast machines, pan mixers, conveyors, sand transfers, cooling towers, etc
  • Conduct HT switch and testing
  • Must be able to repair cranes and JIB cranes.
  • Must be able to read and understand drawings.
  • Experience in building electrical panels in-house with drawings.
  • Must be medically fit to work without restrictions.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently
  • Good communication skills
Minimum Education & Experience required
  • Matric or equivalent
  • Qualified Millwright with red seal
  • 3 to 5 years work experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of a manufacturing/foundry equipment and machinery
  • Strong mathematical and technical skills with attention to detail
  • Valid Crane license
  • Must be able to work shifts and overtime.
  • Must be available for standby.
