Quality Assurance Administrator (fresh Produce)

Job Description
GrapeHub is a fast-growing fruit import & export company with offices based in Europe and South Africa. The company currently has an exciting opportunity (based in Paarl) for a Quality Assurance Administrator (Fresh Produce). The successful candidate will report to the Team Leader.Responsibilities:
- Evaluate incoming quality of produce and compile quality control reports
- Communicate quality inspection results to key stakeholders (e.g., suppliers and customers)
- Conduct quality control registrations on the ERP system and maintain data integrity
- Conduct customer claim and complaint administrations
- Analyse supplier due diligence documentation to determine compliance with customer requirements and relevant country of destination legislation
- Matric qualification (a relevant agricultural tertiary qualification would be beneficial)
- Experience in the South African and/or European fruit industries (minimum one year)
- Quality control experience in the fresh fruit industry would be advantageous
- Strong administrative and planning skills
- Adaptability in fast paced environment and up-to-date industry knowledge
- Strong computer literacy skills (ERP system experience would be beneficial)
- Well-developed technical knowledge and skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Well-developed communication skills
- Openness to constructive criticism for learning and improvement
- Strong pressure management skills
- Well-developed multi-tasking ability
- Team player and willing to walk the extra mile
