Monitor compliance with, and the adequacy of, procedures required to ensure safe operational practices, airworthiness of aircraft and equipment;
Perform quality audits, investigations and inspections, as part of ongoing Quality Assurance System;
Identify and record any concerns or findings, and the evidence necessary to substantiate such issues;
Initiate or recommend solutions to risks or findings through designated reporting channels;
Verify the implementation of solutions within specific timelines;
Ensure effective implementation and constant monitoring of the IQSMS Quality Module is maintained;
Accompany and liaise with SACAA and 3rd Party Auditors during audits and inspections (AOC, AMO, DG, ATO, Flight Ops, etc.);
Assist with the development and preparation of new and required Operations and Training manuals, and check all existing manuals for correctness, completeness and relevance;
Periodic dissemination of quality related information to Operational Training and Maintenance personnel;
Compile monthly reports on QA activities in the organization;
Attend all relevant meetings including but not limited to Quality Assurance;
Secretary to Quarterly Management Review meetings;
Assist with Authorizing and issuing Company Authorizations for Technical department;
Identify gaps within the departmental Quality Assurance processes and make recommendations;
Execution of ad-hoc duties assigned by the Quality Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12;
Degree/Diploma in Quality Management;
Quality Auditor Certification (including Root Cause Analysis Training);
IOSA Auditor Training Experience;
5 years experience in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System in an Aviation (covering the following scopes ORG,FLT,MNT,SEC,DSP,CAB,GRH,CGO);
Familiar with the ALL SACAA CARs and. CATs (e.g. Parts 121, 140, 141, 92, 145, 187, 11, 47, 48, 61, 64, 111, 129);
Must be willing to travel and work overtime as and when required;
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
