About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Assurance Team Leader to spearhead the management and development of our QA team. This junior managerial role is crucial in maintaining and elevating the quality of work across all departments within Skills Academy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in team leadership, particularly within a call centre or customer service environment, coupled with a keen understanding of quality assurance methodologies. This role will involve overseeing QA workflows, providing constructive feedback, and generating comprehensive reports to drive continuous improvement. Initially, the QA Team Leader will also participate in QA tasks until the team is fully established.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Administrators
, focusing on performance management, training, and professional growth.
Leverage prior experience in a call centre or customer service setting
to enhance quality checks across communication platforms (calls, emails, online platforms).
Oversee all QA activities
, including quality checks, in-depth investigations, and the development of robust QA standards.
Monitor, analyze, and report on QA performance
, identifying trends and providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Facilitate effective communication
between the QA team and senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Matric (Relevant qualification advantageous).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing/leading a team.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service/call centre environment.
Quality Assurance experience advantageous.
Strong administrative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Google Workplace (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.).
