The position will report to the Head of Industrialisation and is based in Randjespark, Midrand (Gauteng).Job PurposeThe Industrial Quality Engineer position is to ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered by the Gibela facilities.Responsible to create procedures & processes that ensure quality compliance in services, products, and parts to the customer.Perform inspections, checks, tests, audits, training and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and on products during the operations process. Recording associated results, KPIxe2x80x99s and NCRxe2x80x99s.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain Industrial Quality scope processes in all Gibela Service Sites.Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.Create and update Quality related procedures, protocol, and checklists.Continuously collaborate with Industrial teams on all quality control and operational risks topics.Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective actions.Ensure accurate documentation of NCR/QRQC/8D/Findings and support teams to launch the expected reaction (QRQC/8D).Escalate the anomalies detected on Operations activities & ensure their effective treatment (QRQC/NCR tool).At first activity application, perform inspections and audit on processes of subassemblies or finished products at workstation according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurements and documentation.
