Job Description
Position: Quality Inspector
Industry: Engineering
Location: Benoni - Gauteng
Salary: Market relatedDuties include but not limited to:
- Ensure that all components received and manufactured, adhere to dimensional and other quality requirements reflected by drawings and specifications
- Dimensional and visual inspection of all incoming raw materials, as laid down in the specific work instructions.
- Conduct final inspections of manufactured products in accordance with QCPs defined.
- Completion of all necessary documentation such as inspection check sheets/reports
- Reading and understanding blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications to ensure products are manufactured according to design requirements.
- Regularly checking and calibrating measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Matric
- Minimum 3 years' experience within manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Experienced in using calipers, gauges and micrometers to check dimensions
- Experience in assembly, welding, and machining
