Job Description
Africa's leading specialist in the manufacturing of premium knitted and woven mattress fabric based in Elsies River industrial is seeking to fill the role of a Quality Intern on a 12-month internship programme.
Job description
Minimum Skills/Experience and Knowledge:
Degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Basic knowledge of textile quality standards and testing methods. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Behavioural Dimensions Required:
A willingness to embrace change and learn from diverse experiences. The ability to work under pressure and deal with setbacks. Good planning, organising, problem solving and decision-making skills. The ability to work with other departments. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Performance Areas:
Assist in quality inspections of in-process production and finished goods. Conduct testing and maintain proper documentation as per industry standards. Support the implementation of quality control procedures. Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions. Coordinate with production teams to implement quality improvement initiatives. Maintain and update quality reports. Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations. Support sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives in textile production.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: R8000,00 per month
